Whaling Protest

The Green's are organising an urgent protest outside the Japanese Embassy, Majestic Centre, 100 Willis Street, tomorrow morning (Friday) at 10 am. It is in response to Japan expanding it's annual whale hunt. There 'research programme' will include two new species, fin and humpback whale, while doubling its planned catch of minke whales. Conservation Minister Chris Carter is planning on opposing this proposal at the International Whaling Commission meeting in a few months time. **** Please pass this onto all of your networks and come along with placards
